The 2006 Night of Champions video takes place in the Town Hall Theatre on 43rd Street, New York, NY. This iconic stage in the bodybuilding world is the very place where Arnold Schwarzenegger stood in 1970 when being crowned first ever Mr. Olympia. Bodybuilding fans and New Yorkers alike know this New York Pro event as "The ultimate in Professional Bodybuilding Entertainment". Our store features the first DVD ever to be released for public viewing of this competitive bodybuilding event.
The first disk is a compilation of the top 14 amateur men vying for their pro-cards. This edge of your seat view allows you to follow along at this Pro Qualifier as if you were in the audience yourself. Watch to see which top two athletes in each class moved on to compete with the IFBB.
The second disk in this collection offers complete play by play coverage of the professional event, begins with the sick posing routines of all 23 hungry competitors fighting for the NOC title that day. The documentary continues through the contest all the way to witnessing the as if you were there looks on first runners up, Andreas Frey and Sami Al-Haddad's faces as the judges awarded Lee Priest his first Night of Champions victory. This disc also includes an interview with Wayne DeMilia, founder of the PDI, plus a photo gallery of the guys in the Pro Qualifier.
Both disks contain all rounds, posing routines, neck and neck pose-downs, and awards ceremonies.
